Tina Fey Offered $6 Million To Write A Book

Tina Fey is one of the most talked about women in Hollywood right now. With her Emmy win, a hit TV show, and Sarah Palin impersonations that have us all rolling in laughter, she's sitting on top of the world. And that only means the world wants more of Tina. Publishers have been chasing her down for the past two years to write a book, and now they want her more than ever. But with Tina's superstar status, her price tag has definitely gone up!

Her agent Richard Abate has reportedly been in talks with publishers for a deal, and they're asking around $5-6 million. And they're definitely getting some offers already. One publisher offered $5 million as an advance right off the bat! Others jumped in, which, according to our sources, triggered a bidding war and sent the price tag to toward the $6 million range.

Now all they need to do is get Tina to write it. And don't expect a memoir from her quite yet. The book is being pitched as a nonfiction humor, more in the style of author, screenwriter and film director Nora Ephron.
