The Project Runway star who is now one of the hosts on the new show The Revolution made the shocking announcement that he has been celibate for 29 years, but don’t feel bad for him, Tim Gunn can make it work!
“I haven’t had sex in 29 years. Do I feel like less of a person for it? No. Not even remotely,” says Gunn.
I love it when Tim Gunn asks himself rhetorical questions. Do, I, Tim Gunn think that talking about my sex life on national television is weird and/or TMI? No.

Tim Gunn has made a video for the organization, recalling a time in his life when he didn’t want to go on. He says, "As a 17-year-old youth who was in quite a bit of despair, I attempted to kill myself and I'm very happy today that that attempt was unsuccessful but at the time it's all that I could contemplate."
He shares the message, "It gets better, it really does."
This isn’t the first time Gunn has been vocal about his struggle being a homosexual. In his book Gunn’s Golden Rules, he says he didn’t come out until his twenties.

Tim will be appearing on the 100th episode of the CBS hit series How I Met Your Mother.
According to the Chicago-Tribune, Gunn will play a personal tailor/fashion consultant as Barney tries to fix a major league “Suit Catastrophe.”
HIMYM creator Craig Thomas says, "Tim is basically like Barney's ER physician for a serious suit emergency."
Also appearing on this episode is Rachel Bilson, which Hollyscoop reported last week. There will also be a reported song-and-dance number on episode #100. They’re really pulling out all the stops!
Thomas says, "We're really excited to have Tim on the show, and, with Rachel Bilson cast as a Ted love interest and a huge musical number to boot, it's gonna make Episode 100 even more fun and special.”

Tim and GMA anchor Robin Roberts have been slated to host this year’s official Academy Awards pre-show, called Oscars Red Carpet 2009. Entertainment Weekly managing editor Jess Cagle will also contribute.
We like this trio! They’re all respected people in the biz, and will hopefully not only ask the star “who they’re wearing,” but will throw in some poignant questions as well. For example, maybe a question or two about their favorite film this year.
But Tim’s mind is always on fashion. He called the Oscar’s “the ultimate fashion show.” And he’s definitely right!
Tune in February 22nd as the show airs live from the Kodak Theater!
