Tiger's Mom is Proud of Her Son

One woman who was really easy to please today was Tiger Woods’ mother! She is extremely happy with her son’s speech, and bought every word of it. She told reporters after the telecast, "I said 'I'm so proud of you. Never think you stand alone. Mom will always be there for you and I love you.”

The cameras snapped away as Kultilda and Tiger embraced after the speech. She looked into his eyes, as he stared back at her with that usual icy look in his eyes.

And Kultilda fully believes her son is on the path to better himself. "He will start getting better… it's just like that. Golf is just like life, when you make a mistake, you learn from your mistake and move on stronger. That's the way he is...” she explained.

She also believes the way the media has treated her son throughout this debacle is unfair. "I am upset the way media treated him like he’s a criminal," she said. "He didn't kill anybody, he didn’t do anything illegal. They've being carrying on from Thanksgiving until now, that’s not right."

"People don’t understand that Tiger has a very good heart and soul. Sometimes I think there is a complete double standard ... He tried to improve himself."

She did admit, however, to being emotional about the whole thing. I’m "Upset...This thing is a family matter."

As for Elin Nordegren, she opted not to talk to the press. Her father also told reporters she had “nothing to say” to them. Hmmm, sounds like Tiger’s mother is still his only fan right now in the family. Do you think she should be praising her son this much so soon?
