Tiger Woods to Return to Rehab After Apology

Today's the big day. Today is the day Tiger Woods will finally speak in public and apologize about his indiscretions.

While the details of the speech remain unclear, one thing we do know is that Tiger will head back to rehab after his public apology.

In a letter to the Associated Press, PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem says: "As we understand it, Tiger's therapy called for a week's break at this time during which he has spent a few days with his children and then will make his statement before returning. Accordingly, there was very little flexibility in the date for the announcement."

Woods is to speak at 11 a.m. EST from the clubhouse at TPC Sawgrass, home of the PGA Tour, in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Media outlets from around the world have flown into Vedra Beach to hear him breaks his silence for the first time since his bizarre car accident on Nov. 27.

There's still no word on whether his estranged wife Elin Nordegren will be at the press conference, but we wouldn't blame her if she decided to skip it!

He's not an addict. He's a serial adulterer. I've known sex addicts. They can't control themselves. They need stimulation ALL THE TIME. They can't just bide their time until they can hop off to Vegas. I am so sick of celebrities running off to rehab screaming "I have a problem" every time they get caught misbehaving. Hey famous douche! You don't have a disease. You're just an inconsiderate jerk with a fierce sense of entitlement.

wow....This is crazy. When i first heard that Woods did something crazy,i thought he killed someone. After checking on the web, i read that he cheated on his wife with 9 different women including some porn star. That was quiet a bad move that he did. However, some people are blaming him and think that his wife should leave him. From my point of view, what he has done was a terrible mistake but a mistake that could be forgiven by people and precisely by his wife. A mistake or the worst mistake in the world is still a mistake. Everybody makes a mistake in this life and people should know that nobody is perfect in this world and everyone in this world had made or will make a mistake that you( the whole world including myself)will never forgive till the day you( the whole world) die. After i have seen his statement about it, i was really impressed for what he did not only because he is Woods but because he is a man who confronts his mistake front of the whole world such as his fans, his friends, his wife's family and specially to the people that don't like him not for for this scandal but other stuff. For God's Sake, is Tiger Woods the only man that had made mistake in this world? Well i don't think so. There are still celebrities that are doing crazy things out there and people are not doing anything about it. All i am saying is, this is a problem between husband and wife. From what i know, there are married and swore to stay together for the best and worst moments during their live. This is a situation where those two must really really, i mean really talk about over and over, so they could find a solution to this. I like to say this to the world, i mean every man in this world. How many man could stand up in front of the whole world, saying that you cheated on your wife? How many man? For having apologized to the world, fans, friends, haters, his wife's family, his parents, Woods must be truly sorry for what he did and you could even see that during his statement.His words and the expression on his eyes were truly sincere.All i can say is Woods must do everything in his power to persuade his wife to make her forgive him. I wish she won't leave him because i think he still loves her and will forever if she accepts his apologies.She must think about their kids and the good moments they have shared together. She must not allow people to interfere with her thoughts or her instinct.Forgiveness could be a punishment for Woods and will make him understand that what he did was completely wrong and will make himself change his behavior. She must not forget the day they got married together and remember that in a marriage their are bad and good moments. She should think about her family and her kids. This was one of the worst moment in her life but it is not the end of the world. I hope they will still leave together.

So what happens when he relapses? Most addicts do within 6 months. Does he get a token for every month he stays "clean"? A cake and coffee at the one year mark?

Only time will tell. I wish them the best, but I'll with-hold my opinion on him till I see how he behaves.
