With the Masters coming up soon, all anyone wants to know is if Tiger Woods will be talking to reporters. And the answer is yes! Augusta National released their tentative press schedule yesterday, which states that Woods will speak at 2PM on April 5th.
This will be the first time Tiger has done a public interview since the car accident, excluding the brief one he gave ESPN and the Golf Channel last week. Former golf great Arnold Palmer thinks this is a great opportunity for Tiger to open up with reporters.
“It’s up to him to do and say whatever he feels he needs to do to redeem the situation, put it in the proper place. I suppose the best thing he could do would be open up and just let you guys shoot at him," Palmer said. "That's just my thought."
We agree! That first interview back was so staged! If Tiger is willing to come back to golf so early, he has to be able to take the heat—and we hope reporters don’t hold back on the tough questions!
