The press conference Tiger Wood’s alleged mistress was scheduled to have this morning has now been canceled. As Hollyscoop previously reported, Rachel Uchitel hired Gloria Allred to defend her in this case, and the two were supposed to speak out about the matter this morning at 11:30am.
The press conference has since been canceled. Extra was first to report the news, saying it was canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Allred added, "There will be no further statements on this matter.”
We were expecting Rachel to come clean about her relationship with Tiger Woods, since she claims she lied and covered it up previously. This is just getting messier by the second! Why wouldn’t she talk now?
Details to follow!
Update: Radar is reporting that the reason Rachel’s press conference was canceled is because Tiger’s people are trying to pay her off! Apparently his people have been franticly calling Rachel and her lawyer to get her to shut up.
The insider claims an extensive contact was drawn up Wednesday night between Rachel’s representatives and Tiger’s people. Sources tell them that both parties are negotiating a $1 million payoff for her to remain silent.
When Gloria Allred was asked about the truth to this, she replied, “No comment.”
In related news, Radar says Rachel is currently looking into buying the rights to her personal story of her affair with Tiger.
