New details have just emerged surrounding the Tiger Woods car crash on Friday night.

An alleged eyewitness at the scene has now come forward to tell TMZ that Tiger was lying on the ground unconscious when EMT workers arrived.

The person says paramedics used pain stimulus—a method in which pressure is applied to someone who is unconscious—to try and wake him up.

According to the report, Tiger opened his eyes briefly, and then lost consciousness again.

The eyewitness also claims Tiger had a cut on his lower lip that was bleeding, and that he wasn’t wearing any shoes.

TMZ reports that paramedics asked Tiger’s wife Elin Nordegren if he was taking any medication. She ran into the house, and brought out two unspecified medications, and told them she did not know when he last took them.

The person also claims Elin was extremely upset, and was told twice by EMT worker to step away from Tiger while they were tending to him.

Story developing…

UPDATE: Woods was scheduled to host and participate in the Chevron World Challenge at the Sherwood Country Club in California this weekend for his charity and a press conference was scheduled for tomorrow, but the press conference has since been canceled, according to Tiger's reps.

UPDATE 2: Tiger just released the following statement: "I am extremely disappointed that I will not be at my tournament this week. I am certain it will be an outstanding event and I'm very sorry I can't be there."

The more he avoids explaining the events that made him crash the MORE focus there will be on his "story" - which I'm sure is the complete opposite of what he wants at this time.....

Tiger needs to step up and talk to police. The longer he doesn't the worse it's going to get, as far as rumors. This isn't going to go away.
