Rapper T.I. Released From Prison

T.I. has just been released from prison, and upon seeing the beautiful sun shining and smelling the sweet air of freedom, he did what anyone pent up for almost a year would do--Tweet.

"The storm is over & da sun back out. IT'S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!"

In 2010, rapper T.I. was sentenced to 11 months behind bars after he was arrested for drug possession. He's been in federal prison since November of last year.

Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan is signing the checks she got from filming a bunch of commercials while under house arrest in her beachfront apartment. Just saying.

The rapper was released from an Arkansas prison and will now be transferred to either a community living facility or home confinement, according to TMZ.

In September of last year, T.I. was arrested on the Sunset Strip, and the arrest caused law enforcement officials to revoke his probation stemming from a federal gun conviction back in 2009.

Are we sure this guy is a rapper? Because he's certainly not behaving like one. First of all, he has like, no cartoon character tattoos on his arm. He also doesn’t wear giant, stupid Urban Outfitters glasses. And his hair isn't even dyed pink!

According to Chris Burke, a spokesman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, T.I. was released at 7:29AM, Arkansas time, He was originally scheduled to be released on September 29.

T.I. also tweeted: "Feels great to be back where I belong...Back in the arms of those who need me the most."

During the first month of his sentence, T.I. had already had it with prison life. He posted a message on his website writing:

"I don' t know what effect this will have on my life moving forward but I'm certainly sick and mother f-cking tired of going to jail, juve, prison, the pen, correctional facilities or whatever else you want to call it."

He added: "I'd have been better off doing a 5-10 year bid one time than going in time and time again for days, weeks and months for the last 15 years of my life."

On a side note, how much sh-t do you think T.I. got in the pokey for saying, "Sorry, can't help you shank White Power Bill today, I gotta update my blog."

Perhaps the rapper has learned his lesson this time. T.I wrote:

"At one time I thought my motivation for continuing was for my fans, my partna Philant, my pops, my grandmamma (sic), even for the haters or the people I let down.

But nah... I got to do this shit for me!!! I'll be God damned if I've come all this way and made it through so much hell to let it go down like this! F-ck that! If an hour in the dark is worth a second in the sun then pass me my mother f-ckin' shades cause I'm ready to cash my darkest hours in...ASAP!!!"

Welcome back, T.I.
