Meanwhile, the worst that’s happened to Lindsay Lohan from her jail sentence is an uneven tan line from the ankle monitor. Just putting that out there.
According to TMZ, T.I. was supposed to head to a halfway house from prison using a reasonable form of his own transportation. Law enforcement sources say that they allow a private, unescorted mode of transportation, and T.I. told them he would be taking some sort of van.
That van turned out to be a badass, pimped out tour bus. Come on, it’s T.I.! Cops need to understand, a man has to travel from a prison to a halfway house in style.

"The storm is over & da sun back out. IT'S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!"
In 2010, rapper T.I. was sentenced to 11 months behind bars after he was arrested for drug possession. He's been in federal prison since November of last year.
Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan is signing the checks she got from filming a bunch of commercials while under house arrest in her beachfront apartment. Just saying.
The rapper was released from an Arkansas prison and will now be transferred to either a community living facility or home confinement, according to TMZ.

The rapper checked into prison in Arkansas today to begin his 11-month sentence.
Sources tell TMZ he checked in “sometime this afternoon.”
He was sentenced to 11 months behind bars after his drug possession arrest on the Sunset Strip back in September -- an arrest that caused law enforcement officials to revoke his probation stemming from a federal gun conviction back in 2009.
T.I.'s Wife Charged With Ecstasy Possession
A spokesperson for the prison says T.I. will go through the normal process -- which means he'll be processed, pose for a prison photo, and will be given a bunk assignment.
Imagine how cool it would be to get T.I. as your roommate?
We’re sad to see him back behind bars, but maybe this time he’ll realize he’s not above the law!

According to TMZ, the LA County District Attorney charged Cottle with possession of ecstasy when she and T.I. were arrested last month.
T.I. Headed Back to Jail
She faces up to a year in jail if she’s convicted. As for T.I., he got off pretty easy, since the D.A. decided not to charge him with anything related to the incident. But like we reported earlier, T.I. is still going back to jail in Georgia because he was dumb enough to violate his probation.
We say throw her in jail—who does ecstasy these days anyway?? Were they going to a rave?? That drug may have been cool for rich Upper East Side private school kids during the 90s, but it’s a little creepy for grown adults to be doing it.
All drugs are stupid—but ecstasy is triple the stupid!

T.I. and his wife were arrested on September 1 for possession of a controlled substance, but he won't get charged because he's already been sentenced to prison for violating his probation, reports TMZ.
There were also legal issues with the case which is why they didn't move forward with the charges.
Arresting officers claim they smelled pot, but it was never booked into evidence.
Guess he got somewhat of a break?

T.I. Talks Suicidal Man off the Ledge
He told the judge he "screwed up" and pleaded for mercy asking the judge to send him to rehab instead. “I screwed up bigtime, and I’m sorry," he told the judge.
"I’m truly and sincerely sorry. I don’t want and I don’t need to use drugs anymore. I want them out of my life.” But it went in one ear and out the other for the judge.
He has two weeks to turn himself in. It's sad that he didn't learn his lesson the first time around.

T.I. volunteered to help police persuade the stranger not to commit suicide. The man agreed to come down in exchange for a few minutes face-to-face with the rapper.
T.I. told the AP the man seemed "beat up by life.”
"I told him it ain't that bad. It'll get better, to put the time and effort into making it better," he said. "I just reminded him ... it looks bad right now, but it can turn around."
The man was then taken to the hospital for psychological evaluations. As for T.I., he’ll be in court tomorrow for a parole hearing after being arrested on suspicion of drug offenses last month in Los Angeles. He's on supervised release after spending a year in prison on federal weapons charges.
T.I. later said in a radio interview yesterday, "I'm not taking any credit. It could have been resolved in another way. The fact of the matter is God put me in a position, and put in my spirit to be in the position to help, and I can't take any credit for that.
"I didn't wake up this morning with the intentions of going down and helping hostage negotiators talk someone down off a ledge. I don't think that could be in anyone's plan of action," he added. "I don't expect this to have any different impact on any of my circumstances. That wasn't my motivation."
That man owes his life to T.I.!

T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) is still on probation for illegally possessing machine guns a few years ago—which is why he went to prison in the first place.
United States Attorney Sally Quillian Yates says, "The probation office is in the process of determining what happened and will make a recommendation regarding Mr. Harris when they have all the facts."
If officials determine T.I. did violate his probation, he could be sent back to prison—and this time he’d be doing some serious time.
According to the site, T.I.'s probation officer has asked the rapper to return to Atlanta. That doesn’t look good! Stay tuned for more info to come.

According to TMZ, they were both arrested and booked for the alleged possession of a controlled substance on Wednesday night.
L.A. County Sheriff's deputies pulled T.I. and his wife in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard around 10:30PM. Deputies say they smelled marijuana, and after searching the vehicle they arrested T.I. and Tameka.
T.I. is on probation after doing seven months in prison on federal weapons charges, so he's basically screwed right now. They were both released around 4AM this morning after posting $10,000 bail.
UPDATE: According to the Associated Press, T.I. was arrested for suspicion of methamphetamine possession! Yikes!
UPDATE 2: According to TMZ, Ecstasy was also found in the car.
