Studio sessions, live shows, interviews… It’s ain’t easy to be one of the biggest up-and-coming bands in the pop world.

The Wanted were all sorts of busy this past week. The group has posted pics in the studio recording for their new album. Fans across the globe are chomping at the bit for more material.

“We’ve got six or seven tunes that I think are pretty strong,” member Tom Parker told Fuse.

The group addressed the rumors of some high profile collaborations on the LP. According to Nathan Sykes, the group just sent off a track to Chris Brown to “see if he could do some work on it.”

A J.Lo team up? The group is still crossing their fingers on that one…

“It has been mentioned that we might be working with J.Lo,” said Siva Kaneswaran. “We would love to and hopefully J.Lo would love to.”

The Wanted also dropped by Radio Disney for a chat with Ernie D. After maintaining confident stride in the spotlight, the members described each of their roles in the band: Siva is the “Zen” guy, Tom is “reactive,” Max George is very much “the dad,” Jay McGuiness is “eager to please,” and Nathan Sykes is described – accurately so – as “the young one.” But that won’t stop the youngster from allegedly chasing after porn stars.

Mr. Sykes was reportedly caught picking up a 25-year-old porn star at a MTV Spring Break gig in Las Vegas.

The boys gave interviews to Us Weekly and Rolling Stone and posed for an upcoming spread. They also performed at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. The set was broadcast live on Fuse.

Jay even posted a twit pic of the group meeting for Ice Age 4: Continental Drift. Their track “Chasing The Sun” will be featured on the soundtrack. The movie will arrive in theaters July 13.

Though there’s no official date, The Wanted’s new album is scheduled for a November release.
