Needless to say, they’re exact opposites. Abby is a play-by-the-rules kind of girl, while Mike throws caution to the wind and speaks the truth, no matter how much it hurts the person listening.
That’s why Abby’s co-workers pair her up with Mike to help her find the perfect guy for her. Abby has to learn to play by Mike’s rules, and not her own. She obliges, since she has nothing to lose. Does Abby find exactly what she’s looking for in a guy who is everything opposite of what she wants?
You’ll have to see the movie to find out! The Ugly Truth hits theatres on July 24th. And if nothing else, Gerard Butler is in the movie. Do you need more of a reason than that?
