Whitney Port Begins Filming Her Hills Spinoff

Back in June, Hollyscoop reported that Whitney Port was rumored to be getting her own Hills spinoff-type show. And now In Touch is reporting that shooting has already begun! According to the report, Whitney started shooting in the Big Apple on August 27th.

Coming up on The Hills, Whitney leaves her job at People's Revolution to take a position at Diane Von Furstenberg. The show will center around that, plus Whit gets a pal of her own to join the cast, Samantha Swetra, who is a manager at Bergdorf Goodman.

An In Touch insider says, "Sami's the perfect foil to Whitney's good girl image. "She's sure to bring a ton of drama. Her circle of friends are a whole different breed-very high-fashion-not beauty like the girls of The Hills."

The Whitney spinoff is reportedly scheduled to premiere later this year. Will you watch?
