The Hangover

If you watched the trailer for Hangover 2, you were probably thinking the same thing I was--was that Hangover 1 or 2?

The sequel is basically the same exact thing as the original, but set in a different location. Director Todd Phillips must have hopped online and read what fans were saying, because the trailer has been pulled!

He made a different version of the trailer, which turned out to be not PG-13 enough.

The result? The MPAA and Warner Bros have demanded that the trailer be pulled from all theaters.

In a letter obtained by Yahoo, the MPAA sent the following email out:

"Warner Bros. and the M.P.A.A. have instructed all theatres to remove The Hangover Part II trailer #2 from Source Code and any other placements. These #2 trailers need to be DELETED FROM YOUR SERVER." adding: "We greatly appreciate your immediate cooperation on this matter."

Seriously, it was the same exact trailer. You could have done better Todd...let's try this again.
The first teaser trailer for 'The Hangover 2' has arrived and damn is it a teaser!

Phil, Stu, Alan and Doug have reunited, but this time they skipped Las Vegas and headed straight for…Bangkok.

The clip, which is just over a minute long, is more hype-up footage than anything. It really doesn't give away much, but it features Bradley Cooper looking as hot as ever, so I'm still excited about it.

Check out the teaser below! The Hangover: Part 2 will hit theaters on May 26!

Don't MISS out on Breaking News!
Who needs Mel when you have the former President of the United States in your kick @ss movie?!

Bill Clinton was spotted in Thailand with the boys from The Hangover sequel shooting scenes for the upcoming movie.

Mike Tyson Will Return for Hangover Sequel

Clinton, who will play himself in the movie, shot his brief appearance on Saturday in Bangkok. The cameo worked out great for Clinton because was in the capital city to deliver a speech on clean energy.

They're barely half way through shooting and everyone is already so excited for this sequel!

Hope all the hype surrounding the movie doesn't leave us disappointed at the end. The sequel will hit theaters on May 26, 2011. Can’t wait!
While Mel Gibson is raging pissed he got fired from The Hangover sequel, Mike Tyson will be thrilled to know he's returning for part II.

Hangover director Todd Phillips confirmed to CNN that Mike will return for the sequel and the whole gang is pretty thrilled about it.

Mel Gibson "Furious" He Got Cut From The Hangover

"Yes, he will be back. But it all makes sense," Todd told Details magazine via CNN. "It sounds like a crazy hodgepodge, but it all makes sense."

When asked how he felt about Mike recently confessing he did the original Hangover for drug money Todd said, "I love that quote!"

"But I didn't really understand the logic behind it. He said he wanted to bootleg the DVD but then it became an international hit. You'd think he'd make more money bootlegging it in that case. He was like [doing a Tyson impression], "I saw it on Canal Street, and I thought, 'We's trumped!'"

This movie is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated movies for 2011, can't wait to see the final result!
Mel Gibson is suffering the consequences for being such an angry dude.

Mel was cast in the Hangover sequel, but was immediately axed because the cast and crew didn’t want him in the movie. He was replaced by Liam Neeson.

Liam Neeson Replaces Mel Gibson in the Hangover Sequel

Mel is reportedly very angry that they didn't give him a chance to redeem himself.

An insider says, "He doesn't understand why Mike Tyson, a drug user [and convicted rapist, as EW.com points out] who turned his life around, was given a chance while Mel was kicked to the curb. Everybody deserves a second chance."

Good point! This was a good chance for Mel Gibson to make a comeback, but it seems like people are just sick of forgiving him.
So much for Mel Gibson getting his comeback.

Earlier today it was announced that Mel had been dropped from the Hangover sequel and they have already found his replacement.

Hangover Cast Said NO to Mel Gibson

According to Variety and THR, Liam Neeson has replaced Mel.

The reason they didn't want Gibson was because "they don't want him to be in the movie and serve as a platform for some creepy comeback," an insider said.

"They didn't want that energy or to shoulder what would come with having him apart of the film."

Mel was originally cast as a tattoo artist, but we're not sure if Liam will play the same role or if that was specific to Mel.
Zach Galifianakis was the big stand out star of The Hangover, so when he put his foot down against having Mel Gibson on the sequel Todd Philips obliged.

Mel Gibson was supposed to start shooting his part next week, but he was axed from the movie.

Mel Gibson Fired From The Hangover Sequel

"I thought Mel would have been great in the movie. But I realize filmmaking is a collaborative effort, and this decision ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew," director Todd Phillips said.

During an interview Galifianakis said that although he was excited about The Hangover sequel, he was not into a lot of the showbiz scene.

When it comes to "a movie you're acting in, you don't have a lot of control – you just show up and vomit your lines out. I mean, I'm not the boss. I'm in a deep protest right now with a movie I'm working on, up in arms about something. But I can't get the guys to ... I'm not making any leeway."

We agree with Todd Phillips that Mel Gibson would actually be a great addition, but not everyone is so forgiving.
There goes Mel Gibson's big comeback! Mel was in talks to star in The Hangover sequel as a tattoo artist, but he's since been axed because the crew didn't want anything to do with him.

Hangover 2 director Todd Phillips said, "I thought Mel would have been great in the movie and I had the full backing of Jeff Robinov and his team. But I realize filmmaking is a collaborative effort, and this decision ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew."

Hangover Director Wants Tiger Woods for Sequel

We still think Todd should ask Tiger Woods to make a cameo. "We are going to try and get Tiger Woods for the second one...Yeah help him regain his image," Todd told Hollyscoop exclusively back in 2009.

“Mike (Tyson) loved doing the Hangover because he loved fucking with the image people had of him. He knew we were not making fun of him but of the image people projected on him," Todd told Hollyscoop.

If anyone needs an image makeover it's Mel and Tiger. Who would you rather see make a cameo in the sequel?
Mel Gibson is ready to put the past few months behind him and get back to work. And what better way to do it than a sure-to-be blockbuster hit?

Mel is reportedly confirmed for a hilarious cameo in The Hangover sequel.

“It’s a done deal,” a source told New York Post gossip column Page Six. “Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist.

Hangover Director Wants Tiger Woods for Sequel

The source added, “Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros. lot, where a Bangkok set has been built, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October.”

Director Todd Phillips told Hollyscoop back in 2009 that he would have loved to have Tiger Woods in the sequel. "We are going to try and get Tiger Woods for the second one...Yeah help him regain his image."

But luckily Mel could use the good press just as much as Tiger. What do you think of Mel joining the cast?
The Hangover was so funny that we were sort of worried that we might be disappointed with the sequel! That’s until we heard that they might be headed to Thailand!

Comingsoon.net is reporting that the boys are headed to Thailand for the sequel this fall.

The director of the film, Todd Phillips originally debunked the rumor saying, "I don't know…There's a lot of rumors. There was rumor also that it was going to Mexico or something and neither are true."

But Comingsoon.net is reporting that it was just misdirection on Philiips’ behalf and the primary setting for the sequel would in fact be Thailand.

The sexy Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha and Zach Galifianakis will get together once again to get into even more outrageous trouble and we can’t wait for it!
