The Green Hornet cast keeps growing by the minute! Earlier this month, Hollyscoop reported that Cameron Diaz was being courted for the role of he reporter and love interest of the main character, which is being played by Seth Rogen.

And now we may have our villain! According to Variety, Nicolas Cage is being considered for role of the gangster bad guy in the film.

That means Cage and Rogan would be competing against each other for the love of Cameron.

The production is reportedly full-steam ahead, with a hopeful release date of next summer.

This could be a great career booster for Nick Cage. Based on his most recent films, like Knowing, he could use a summer blockbuster on his resume. And comic strip movies are the hottest trend in film right now!
