The Fighter

The newest trailer for Mark Wahlberg's The Fighter was just released. The movie is a total dude flick!

The Fighter is based on the early years of boxer "Irish" Micky Ward and his brother who helped train him before going pro in the mid 1980s.

The movie has been getting great reviews from the critics.

The Fighter hits theaters on December 10, 2010.

Christian Bale fans may freak out when they see the actor in the next couple of weeks, because he's reportedly losing a lot of weight for his new role.

Bale is already super slim, so shedding more weight will give him an unhealthy physique, which is exactly what he needs to play a drug addict in his new movie.

Bale is set to play drug addicted boxer Dickie Eklund in the new drama The Fighter. Eklund's boxing career came to end in 1985 because of his addiction to cocaine.

Bale was photographed walking through L.A. this past weekend and was hardly recognizable because of all the weight loss.

It's not the first time Bale has had to lose weight for a role. He lost 63 pounds for his role in 2004's The MAChinist. As long as it's just for a movie role, we're willing to turn the other cheek, but we want his Batman body back after!
