Batman and Joker Coming To A Theatre Near You!

Christian Bale graces the June 2008 cover of Details Magazine. In the mag, he talks about playing Batman on the film The Dark Knight where he co-starred opposite Heath Ledger who played Joker.

When asked about the late Heath Ledger Bale said, “He was incredibly intense in his performance but incredibly mellow and laid-back. Certainly there was this great anarchistic streak to it _ just getting dirtier than anybody’s envisioned the Joker before. … Naturally, (the movie) was something I wanted to share with him _ and expected to do so. And I can’t do anything else but hope that it will be an absolutely appropriate celebration of his work.”

The movie is slated for release on July 18 July 2008 .
