Whitney Port is saying goodbye to The City--literally!

Whitney was a special guest on KISS FM today and confessed to Ryan Seacrest that her MTV show is being canned.

"As of right now it doesn't really look like we're doing it anymore," Whitney told Ryan Seacrest.

When asked if it could possible move from MTV to another network, Whitney told Ryan, "No, at this point it's not."

But she's not down and out about it. "I'm working on some other things," Whitney said. "It's okay, one door closes and another opens."

We've been hearing the cancellation rumors for months so we're not exactly surprised by the news.

Stephanie Pratt doesn't exactly have a job so as soon as The Hills wraps up this month, she's basically unemployed.

So what's a girl to do? Relocate to where the cameras are. Stephanie is reportedly in talks to move to New York to join Whitney Port on The City.

Lauren Conrad to The Hills: No Thanks!

"There would be a lot of drama there because her ex-best friend, Roxy Olin, is a regular on the show - and there's bad blood because Roxy just dropped Stephanie for Whitney Port," an insider told the New York Post.

Stephanie's rep tells Hollyscoop there's no plans for Step to join The City, but industry insiders claim otherwise.

The Hills continues tonight at 10pm on MTV, with The City following at 10.30pm. It's basically the same boring fake reality show, but based in different cities. Would you watch Stephanie on The City? Or does MTV need to pull the plug on that show too?

Whitney Port dropped by The View this morning to talk about how much her life has changed since The City started. She chatted with the ladies about her transition of having a small role on The Hills, to being the star of her own show. And believe it or not, Whitney’s not too phased by having cameras document her every move.

She says that in the beginning it was a little daunting, but now she’s totally cool with multiple cameramen witnessing every intimate moment of her life, including her make-out sessions with her boyfriend Jay.

Then Elisabeth asks the age-old question of how “real” is The City, making a comparison to her own experience when she was a contestant on Survivor, where Elisabeth says she “nearly died.”

Whiteny must have checked in with MTV right before her appearance, because she gave the perfect scripted answer. Guess that’s why they like her so much!

Watch the video below to hear what Whitney says, and to find out where she sees herself in five years. By then, we’ll have a Jay spinoff, Speidi spinoff, Olivia spinoff….the list goes on!

Apparently you don't need people to watch your show to get it renewed for a second season.

Despite lackluster ratings, Whitney Port's new show 'The City' will see a ton of new episodes.

Speaking about the reality show on Monday's Tyra Banks Show, she said: "I am dating on the show. It was something I was really nervous about," she said.

"Clearly, I mean, who wants to date while having three cameras around you? I mean, it's not an ideal situation."

Do any of you watch the show? The second hand drama doesn't really do much for me, so I never got into it. Do you think it should have been renewed for another season?

So did you guys watch that premiere of Whitney Port's new show, The City last night?

The show was actually seemed to be a carbon copy of the Hills set out of New York. The good thing is when the Hills finally comes to an end, we can all have The City to fall back on. Besides, we're bored of the Hills.

The City has a completely new cast, hot guys and the girls dress really nice. What else could a girl ask for?

What did you guys think of the show?
