The Bachelor

Chris Harrison, the host of The Bachelor series, announced last week that he was divorcing his wife of 22-years.

Everyone was secretly hoping that Chris Harrison would himself become the next eligible bachelor on the series, but sadly Chris shot down rumors that he will ever be the next candidate for "The Bachelor."
I knew that show was cursed!

Last September, "The Bachelor" creator Mike Fleiss filed for divorce from his wife of 24 years and became officially single this past March.

Now the show's host, Chris Harrison, announced on Thursday that he and Gwen, his wife of 18 years have separated.

Is there a behind-the-scenes epidemic erupting on “The Bachelor?”
Don't MISS out on Breaking News!
'The Bachelor' host Chris Harrison and his wife Gwen Jones are calling it quits after 18 years of marriage.

In Touch Weekly broke the news Thursday. “They are still really close and remain the best of friends,” an insider tells In Touch. “They've been taking turns with their kids so they can both see them as much as possible.
Bachelor Ben Flajnik proposed to Courtney Robertson on last night’s season finale of The Bachelor. It’s the day after the episode airs and Courtney’s not even wearing her engagement ring!

So are they together? Aren’t they? Can they at least pretend like this show is about true-love and not a ratings war? C’mon why can’t they be more like Trista and Ryan! The original “The Bachelorette” anyone!?
Another season of The Bachelor has come and gone. Bachelor Ben Flajnik proposed to Courtney Robertson on last nights finale of The Bachelor, but apparently since the time they filmed that final rose ceremony until now, the couple has been broken up. That doesn't surprise me at all, because that b-tch was crazy.

Courtney was arguably the most hated Bachelor contestant in the history of the series. She was mean to the other girls, she was two-faced, and she always looked for an excuse to get naked
Apparently, ‘Tebowing’ now means kneeling in prayer, becoming massively famous and then starring on a reality show.

Tim Tebow has been linked to everyone from Katy Perry to Taylor Swift, so it’s no surprise that we’re trying to put him on ‘The Bachelor’ now.

Host Chris Harrison appeared on Monday’s episode of ‘Access Hollywood Live,’ and he revealed that he’d recently approached the 24 year-old Denver Broncos quarterback to star in the series.
If you want to star on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, it’s pretty easy. Just open up your heart to complete vulnerability, and then have it smashed. Publically. While everyone laughs.

Ben Flajnik, better known as the guy who had his marriage proposal rejected last season finale of The Bachelorette, will star in the next season of The Bachelor on ABC.

In the season finale episode of The Bachelorette, Flajnik told Ashley Hebert:

"Every second I spend with you makes me fall deeper in love with you. I want to thank you for allowing me to feel completely and utterly vulnerable and open with you.”
But…this was supposed to last forever…I mean, they met on television, for crying out loud. Reality television. Doesn’t that mean anything anymore?

According to reports, Emily Maynard returned the engagement ring Brad Womack gave her when he proposed in the season finale back in November.

A show insider says, “It’s completely over now.”

Obligatory proposal? Check. Appearance on Ellen? Check. Face above the word “Heartbreak” on magazine cover? Yup, it’s all covered, and you can now both update your IMDB pages.
If you ever feel like going through a divorce, breakup, failed engagement, etc., then The Bachelor is the show for you.

On last night’s finale, Brad Womack chose contestant Emily Maynard to be his new fiancé, proposing to her by saying, “I’m asking you to give me your forever.”

And by "your forever", I guess he meant until the next commercial break.

Because moments later, it was reported that the couple had broken up because of Emily’s insecurity. She admitted she had trouble seeing the man she loved with so many different women each week.

A show producer told Popeater, “Emily is not able to forgive Brad for what she considers cheating week-after-week with other girls."

What did she think the other women were there for, set décor?
Brad Womack first appeared on The Bachelor in 2007 and famously rejected the two final contestants, but on Monday night's finale of The Bachelor, he proposed to Emily Maynard, and she of course said yes!

Brad proposed with a Neil Lane diamond engagement ring while runner up Chantal O'Brien was left in tears.

"You're the one, Em. You're my once in a lifetime. Please let me be your once in a lifetime. Please let me be your best friend. Please let me protect you and your beautiful daughter, and please let me love you for the rest of your life. I love you, Emily. I am truly in love with you. Emily, please make me happier than I've ever been in my life and marry me."

"I've gone through so much to get to where I am today. I've made so many mistakes and had so many ups and downs. I always believed that when the time was right, I'd find the woman that I've been looking for for my entire life. I knew it would take opening up ways in I wasn't used to….All it took was coming here and finding you," he added.

Now that the show has aired they can finally go public with their fake romance love. $10 bucks says they'll split before summer.

What did you think of Brad's choice?
