Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg Team Up for The B Team

Two big A-listers are about to join The B Team! Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg have just signed on to play cops in the action comedy directed by Farrell’s writing partner, Adam McKay, who is also the father of the infamous Pearl in the Funny Or Die video, The Landlord.

According to Variety, the package was pitched to Sony earlier this week, and they loved it.

McKay says, "We have a great relationship with the team at Sony from 'Talledega Nights' and 'Step Brothers' and we couldn't be more excited about doing our next one with them. Also I feel like we've put the physical altercation I had with Matt Tolmach on 'Step Brothers' behind us, and it's time to get back to the business called show." Variety reports that the script isn’t even done yet, and Sony still wanted to do it. That’s how you know you have star power!

Will Ferrell is pretty much genius in everything he does, and we’re excited to see Mark Wahlberg come out of his shell a little bit, and show his comedic side!
