If you’ve ever been to or lived in Texas, you know the women there are
like they are nowhere else. Big hair, big personalities, and
definitely big attitudes—they’re entertaining, amusing and often,
So it’s no surprise that CMT’s Texas Women has become such a
hit. The reality show focuses on four friends who work in the rodeo
and country music scene in Texas.
One is a competitive barrel racer, one is a part-time barrel racer, and then there’s a stock contractor and an aspiring singer.
“They’re kick ass. They can fight like cats on a Saturday night, then
wake-up Sunday, apologize, and go to church together,” says Jayson
Dinsmore, CMT’s executive VP of development.
And don’t expect to see the wine parties and schmooze fests you’re
used to seeing from most reality shows. Texas Women is filled with
cowboys, rodeos, and shotguns—but of course, there is partying, too.
‘Texas Women’ will return in its second season to CMT April 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
Following the season premiere of the show is another new reality
series, ‘Southern Nights.’
‘Southern Nights’ follows ten friends who party and dish their drama
in the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia.
The cast explores the best of the South, from swanky nightclubs to
‘Southern Nights' will premiere Saturday, April 7 at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT
on CMT with two back-to-back new episodes.
