Fabulous Ladies of CMT's 'Texas Women' Returning for Second Season

If you’ve ever been to or lived in Texas, you know the women there are like they are nowhere else. Big hair, big personalities, and definitely big attitudes—they’re entertaining, amusing and often, inspiring.

So it’s no surprise that CMT’s Texas Women has become such a hit. The reality show focuses on four friends who work in the rodeo and country music scene in Texas.

One is a competitive barrel racer, one is a part-time barrel racer, and then there’s a stock contractor and an aspiring singer.

“They’re kick ass. They can fight like cats on a Saturday night, then wake-up Sunday, apologize, and go to church together,” says Jayson Dinsmore, CMT’s executive VP of development.

And don’t expect to see the wine parties and schmooze fests you’re used to seeing from most reality shows. Texas Women is filled with cowboys, rodeos, and shotguns—but of course, there is partying, too.

‘Texas Women’ will return in its second season to CMT April 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Following the season premiere of the show is another new reality series, ‘Southern Nights.’

‘Southern Nights’ follows ten friends who party and dish their drama in the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia.

The cast explores the best of the South, from swanky nightclubs to tailgate parties.

‘Southern Nights' will premiere Saturday, April 7 at 10:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT with two back-to-back new episodes.
