'Teen Mom' Catelynn Lowell Pregnant...Again?

Catelynn Lowell, 20, and Tyler Baltierra, 20, Teen Mom’s (round one) most seemingly mature couple with one of the more emotionally powerful story lines were reportedly expecting their second child but Lowell says those headlines are misleading.

"Don't believe everything you read, I'm definitely not pregnant!" Lowell tells Us Weekly exclusively, adding "I'm on the pill. And, I'm only 20--I don't want to have kids until I'm out of school and we're married."

Over three full seasons with a fourth one just beginning, we have watched the very likable, very in love couple struggle with their decision to give their first daughter, Carly, up for adoption three years ago.

Though their pain is palpable throughout the series, both have strongly stood behind their decision. On their website Tyler says, “It was the hardest thing we will ever do but as parents we made the sacrifice of not raising her and being with her all the time to only better her life…”

And Catelynn’s Twitter profile boasts “Hi, I’m Catelynn from MTV'S Teen Mom, my goal is 2 be an advocate 4 adoption, contact us on website 4 speaking engagements #LOVE”

However, the latest issue of InTouch Weekly has an exclusive story on what they’re calling the couple's “second chance” at parenthood.

An alleged long time friend of Catelynn told the mag that when Catelynn found out she was pregnant, the teen mom confessed to feeling “nervous and scared.”

The source goes on to say that Lowell went through a brief period of “total denial” and panic - her emotions reconfigured into pure excitement - and that the couple were planning on keeping the baby.

Catelynn, who has been with Tyler for eight years, has previously said that she wants to enjoy married life for a few years before planning parenthood.
The couple are set to tie the knot July 15, 2013.

Despite the odds, the couple has made great strides throughout the series in overcoming various obstacles—emotional, logistical, financial, familial (seriously screwed up parents), the high school grads and homeowners are certainly no longer classified teens and their actions back-up their words.

The couple are admittedly using birth control with the hope that the next time Catelynn finds herself with child, they are both ready and able to provide the life they want as they expand their family.

Let’s hope that the teen fans of this series are able to distinguish the difference – otherwise this doesn’t bode well for a series that supposedly conceived to educate and dissuade the masses of our nations youth from finding themselves in the same situation.
