Hopefully Kanye doesn’t try to take this one from her.
Taylor Swift will be receiving an honorary award presented by First Lady Michelle Obama. The singer-songwriter is being recognized for her charity work by Obama, who will present her with a Big Help Award at the 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards, which air live on Saturday at 8pm ET on Nickelodeon.
And you thought all Taylor did was sit around and think of words that rhyme with 'heartbreak' and 'Gyllenhaal.'
Taylor's philanthropic efforts include helping the victims and survivors of tornadoes and floods—she raised $750,000 when she opened her final Speak Now tour rehearsal to fans to benefit those victims. She's also volunteered at the Make-A-Wish Foundation, spent time at the St. Jude Medical Center, and helped out Habitat for Humanity.
In 2010, The First Lady received the honor herself, after her success with the Let's Move! Campaign.
Meanwhile, Swift has been featured on MTV's return of 'Punk'd' With host Justin Bieber at the helms, the promo shows Taylor being made to think she single-handedly ruined a wedding.
"I wanted to make her cry," Bieber said.
Taylor was recently spotted out with her pal Dianna Agron, taking in The Hunger Games at a Los Angeles movie theater. Taylor looked casual in maroon jeans and a tan blazer. A friend of the Fearless singer Tweeted:
""The Hunger Games with the girlfriends @taylorswift13 @diannaagron @Jenniwuhoo."
