Well, this is curious.
Taylor Swift, still feeling spurned by Kanye West interrupting her VMAs acceptance speech 300 years ago (okay, it was four years ago), keeps a framed picture of the moment accompanied by a quippy little caption (see below) hanging in her home.
It was a piece of home décor observed by New York magazine writer Jody Rosen, which he detailed in his profile of Taylor:
“On the wall of her living room, I noticed a photograph in a gilded frame: the famous image of Kanye West, stage-crashing Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Underneath the picture is a caption, handwritten by Swift: Life is full of little interruptions.”
It’s uncertain whether or not Taylor uses this for life-affirming purposes, voodoo doll purposes, or self-deprecating humanizing purposes. Also unclear? When you can buy one for your own living room from your nearest IKEA.
