Taylor Swift: I'm Still Single

Taylor Swift is downplaying the fact that she's dating one of the most sought after men in Hollywood.

Taylor and her new man Taylor Lautner have been seen on numerous dates in the past few weeks with Taylor 1 even introducing Taylor 2 to her mother. But according to the songstress, she's still "single."

In a new interview with InStyle magazine, Swift says she doesn’t have time for a "boyfriend" and insists she’s happy being "single." Sure!

“I’ve never thought it was a curse to be single,” she told the publication, “and at this point in my life, I’m in the mind-set where I choose to be single — like I got to light scented candles and write in my diary and I wouldn’t have time for that if I had a boyfriend right now!”

She admits they've gotten "really close" but still won't fess up to the fact that they're dating. “He and I have gotten really close,” she says.

“It would be confusing on the set with two Taylor’s in the same scene. They were like, ‘Taylor, on your mark – no, not you, the other one!’ So halfway through the shoot, I said, ‘How about you guys call me Swifty and call him Taylor?’ ”

These two make an adorable couple, so we're hoping she drops that "single" title sooner than later. If mom approves, we approve!
