Taylor Swift gives relationship advice…What’s wrong with this picture?
All eyes are on the country pop songstress as she prowls the available Hollywood bachelor list for her next boyfriend. A new interview reveals what Taylor prefers in her relationships and in her closet.
Harper’s Bazaar is the source of the T-Swift conversation…
During the one-on-one, Taylor, now infamous for her constantly changing boyfriends, talked about what a relationship requires to work...not that she’s exactly an authority on the subject.
"It needs to be equal,” said Taylor. “If I feel too much like I'm wearing the pants, I start to feel uncomfortable and then we break up."
Having a boyfriend that can make mature decisions—said the girl that just got over dating a 17-year-old—can really take a load off your mind.
"It's wonderful to hand over the reins to your boyfriend when you control so much of these big, high-pressure decisions, you know?” Taylor added. “That is a huge defining factor in who you choose to be with."
Rivaling her love for turning short-term relationships into charting songs and a Grammy-winning career is Taylor’s love for clothes that don’t require her legs to be covered…shorts, skirts, dresses—aka the typical garb we spot her in.
"Whether it's a summertime dress that makes me feel carefree, an evening cocktail dress that makes me feel fancy, or a vintage dress that makes me feel like a '50s housewife—which I enjoy feeling like, for some reason—I just really like dresses,” she said.
Imagine our surprise then when she sports a pair of long pants in the magazine’s spread. She likens the bold and heroic wardrobe move to a major milestone in her life.
"I think doing something that's different, that's out of your comfort zone is important," she said. "Personal growth, let's call it that."
Yes, she’s talking about wearing pants in that quote…
