Nothing is more awkward than running into your ex. Unless, of course, you’re Taylor Swift and the whole world—and not just the people in the room—is watching.
It’s bad news for Tay Tay, because that’s exactly what’s going to happen at this year’s BRIT Awards. The singer and her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles are both scheduled and confirmed to make an appearance at the event. So, bring on the weirdness…
The ex-pair are nominated for awards that evening, which doesn’t exactly make for a solid confirmation in their attendance.
But, according to an official press release from the BRITs, Taylor Swift has just been confirmed to perform. And, in order to perform—unless you’re Tupac—you definitely have to be there.
Why is this amazing? Because Harry’s band, One Direction, is also scheduled to performance. And, again, because Harry is not Tupac, he’ll have to be there.
So, yes… Taylor and Harry. Together. In the same place. For the first time since their breakup. Amazing.
Tay and One Direction will join the likes of Robbie Williams, Muse, Ben Howard, Mumford and Sons, Emeli Sandé and Justin Timberlake, who have also be tapped to do a set…
The event will be held at the O2 Arena in London on Wednesday, February 20.
