Taylor Swift admits that she falls in love “easily.” Uhh you think so?! Taylor falls in love so easily she forgets to check her boyfriend's birth certificate or else she might have known that she’s dating a HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR right now. But I digress, Taylor’s boyfriend Conor Kennedy is a cutie and a totally LEGAL 18-years-old.
Anyways, Taylor lets it all hang out in the November issue of U.K. Marie Claire saying she still believes in love “even after it explodes into a million pieces and burns down and you’re standing in a pile of the ash of what it once was thinking, ‘Why did I have to meet this person, why did this have to happen?’”
“But then, when you make eye contact with someone across the room and it clicks and bam, you’re there. In love again,” Swift adds.
Wait, falling in love is making “eye contact with someone across the room?” Because if that’s so, we’ve all fallen in love several times on a Friday or Saturday night. Let’s be real.
The journalist asked Swift if she falls in love a little too easily and Swift responds, “Not if it’s the wrong person, yes if it’s the right person.”
Taylor also got super defensive when talking about writing off her ex-boyfriends through song.
“Well, it’s not like it’s in fine print,” she says, “But music is absolutely everything that I am and everything that I stand for. It’s not my fault if someone gets into a relationship with me and then cheats and I write a song about it.”
Oh and as for John Mayer’s comments that he was humiliated that she wrote about him in “Dear John”, Taylor told Glamour magazine, “How presumptuous! I never disclose who my songs are about.”
Oh she also opens up about being best friends with Emma Stone and Selena Gomez.
“I met Emma when I was 17, and I met Selena when I was 18. So they’ve experience all of this with me, and they’ve also experiences their own amazing success, and somehow through all of it, we’ve stayed close,” says Tay Tay.
