Taylor Swift is known for being two things: compassionate, and extremely compassionate.
When Sgt. Wade Wilson – a fan of Swift’s - was killed in duty, the country pop star received notice and reached out to the family in Texas. The Marine passed on May 11, 2012 while serving overseas.
According to KBTX.com, Swift sent a personalized flower arrangement and her condolences to the family.
“It’s funny, because half the rumors, I’ve never even met the people,” the 24 year-old NFL sweetheart told ‘Good Morning America.’ “I’m sure they would be lovely.”

Upon hearing her name as the winner of the fan-based award, Taylor Swift looked unsurprised. And so did everyone else. At this point, they might as well rename the “entertainer of the year” award to the Taylor Swift Award.

Taylor Swift will be receiving an honorary award presented by First Lady Michelle Obama. The singer-songwriter is being recognized for her charity work by Obama, who will present her with a Big Help Award at the 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards, which air live on Saturday at 8pm ET on Nickelodeon.

It started off on a highly somber note, with the news of Whitney Houston's sudden, tragic death on Saturday evening. The show had to be reconstructed to allow for a performance tribute from Jennifer Hudson.
The tribute was a heavy one, and although the tears could be heard in Hudson's voice, she performed a flawless rendition of 'I Will Always Love You.' The singer was met with a massive applause from the crowd. Hudson fanned away her tears.

AskMen conducted their 2012 survey of the ’99 Most Desirable Women of 2012,’ and Sofia came in at number one, beating out her number three spot from last year.
Last year’s number one was Blake Lively, who came in this year as number 32. And yes, I’m pretty sure this list doubles as Leonardo DiCaprio's 'to-do' list. K I can cross that one off, now only 75 more to go...
Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton came in second and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’s Rooney Mara came in third. Talk about polar opposites. Just goes to show you ladies, no matter what you’re look is, there are men out there who love it.
