Because things got all too real, Bravo is planning to slowly phase out ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Taylor Armstrong. Turns out grieving a death is a bit much for the network, and they've decided Brandi Glanville's nipples are about as real as they want to get.
According to RadarOnline, ‘Real Housewives’ will be returning for a third season, but Bravo is planning to gradually get rid of Taylor.
"Producers reluctantly decided to sign Taylor for the next season and I think a lot of their decision was based purely on the fact that they felt bad just dumping her after all she went through last year,” a source said.
In case you don’t remember, what she went through was her alleged abusive husband’s suicide. The public was a little disgusted on the network’s cashing in on the death. We watched—don’t get me wrong—but we were a little disgusted.
So why are producers trying to get rid of Taylor? The source continued:
“The feeling is that Taylor won't really be bringing much to the table and that she's not needed anymore. Producers don't feel she's particularly a sympathetic character and that she lost a lot of people's respect by bringing out a book about the physical abuse she suffered at the hands of her late husband Russell Armstrong following his death, and that she basically cashed in on his suicide.”
But apparently, they’re also worried that she’s gotten kind of boring now that her husband’s no longer with us.
No, seriously:"Everyone's concerned that without the marriage drama she's just going to come across as dull.”
