Lily Allen Slams Susan Boyle

There’s been a lot of animosity in the music industry this past week, and Lily Allen is only adding to the drama!

Her latest rant is over Britain’s Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle. We can’t imagine what problem Lily would have with her, but she found a way!

Apparently Lily thinks Susan is “overrated.” After watching Boyle perform “Cats” on the show, Lily took to her Twitter, writing, “I thought her timing was off on Sunday - no control, and I don’t think she has an amazing voice.”

Lily went on to say that she thinks 12-year old contestant Shaheen Jarfagholi is more talented.

Lily wrote: “She can sing, but it’s not about talent with her, is it? She seems like a lovely lady but, if the show is about talent, then that Shaheen kid should win.”

Does Lily ever just mind her own business? Tweeting has gotten out of control these days! It’s just causing more and more drama!

Who in the "H" is Lily Allen? Furthermore, who is Keith Allen? Never heard of either one, but I HAVE heard of & heard Susan Boyle. She has a great voice & with the right agent & voice coach, she can go VERY far!!!!!

Oh please!! First of all I never knew who Lily Allen was until now. There are far better singers out there than her. Just because someone is not glamorous does not give her the right to criticise. Take some lessons Lily...did you ever hear of "Expose"...now those are fantastic voices!! Who cares what she thinks anyways. Susan is a winner even if she did not win the competition. Susan....I hope you are feeling better...get lots of rest and do not worry about what some idiotic loser says. Kudos Susan! You are a winner in my book.

Who the heck is Lily Allen anyway, never heard of her? Surely this woman does not have the sort of talent that Susan Boyle has. Why do some people seem to get off on putting down someone else. Hey I was always told "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it." I just think this woman is just green with envy that she does not have the kind of talent that Miss Boyle has. Susan is truly a fantastic talent. My vote is for you Susan!

I've never heard of Lily Allen and someone else said she wants to be famous because of her father. Never heard of him either. That just kind of makes me think neither one are worth knowing about. Susan Boyle is real. That's the attraction. Is she the most polished and professional singer in the history of entertainment? Of course not. That's not the point of the show. She's genuine, she has talent and she has a dream. The show is about finding these unknown people and making dreams come true. And it's working. To Lily Allen, whoever she might be, I'd suggest developing a talent for doing something before running your mouth about people who've already done it.

I'm no fan of Ms Allen but I think she's she is absolutely right about Susan Boyle. The poor woman has been hyped out of all proportion. No one actually heard her first audition because of the audience a-whoopin' and a-hollerin'. (Try listening to the youtube video without actually watching it.) Come the semi-final we heard poor intonation, lack of control, a weak and unbalanced voice (particularly in the lower register) and a very unassured, mediocre performance all round. It will be a very sad day for 'talent' if she wins.

What gives this neverwas the right to criticise anybody? Susan Boyle may not be a glamorous wannabe no does she want to be. She has given millions of people hope and encouragement by her simplicity. She has made people happy in a world that is full of uncertainty. Lily Allen, who did not exist two years ago has done nothing for anybody. Her bitchiness is simple envy.
