Susan showed up to The View on Tuesday and attempted to sing O Holy Night. And I say attempted because her voice started cracking half way through the performance.
Folks on the East Coast got the unedited embarrassing version of the performance, while West Coast viewers got an edited repeat performance in which she actually got through the song.

According to TMZ, she will sin a rendition of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ on the show.
Boyle was scheduled to perform on America's Got Talent, but her performance was cancelled last minute when the show couldn't get the rights for Boyle to sing a version of Lou Reed’s track ‘Perfect Day’ with a 100-piece children's choir.
A source said at the time: "Susan was really upset. She was in tears and was forced to pull out of the show, and decided to return to the UK."
It's not the first time Boyle has been on DWTS. Last year, she made an appearance and performed the song that made her famous, ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, from the musical ‘Les Miserables’.
UPDATE:Susan has canceled her performance because she is ill. A rep for Boyle said: "Susan Boyle has had to cancel her performance on 'Dancing with the Stars' as her doctor advised her not to sing due to a severe throat infection. Susan is very upset at letting her fans down. Their continued support means so much to her."

That’s right, according to EW, show execs are trying to land Susan Boyle to appear on the hit show. And even better—they want her for the Christmas episode in season two!

Boyle and the cast of Glee are both signed by Columbia, so show creator Ryan Murphy is hoping not only for a guest spot, but for her to be a part of the Glee Christmas album!
"I have two words for you: Lunch. Lady," says Murphy. "I think Kurt would just die to give her a Christmas makeover. I don't even know if she's interested but it's been pitched."
As for the Christmas album, Rob Stringer, Columbia/Epic's chairman, wouldn't confirm any details but did say, "All very interesting ideas. I'll bring them up at the next development meeting.”

Boyle got pissed that her brothers spoke publicly about her well being. Since she shot to fame, Boyle has had numerous public meltdowns and entered rehab for exhaustion so it's only normal that her brothers would be a bit worried.
Her brothers think that her management team is "controlling" her and keeping "her family away".
Susan thinks that her brothers are full of shit and she is livid that they would speak out to the press about her so she's suing them. That's sad that fame could break a family apart.

Boyle, who shot to fame on the UK TV talent show Britain’s Got Talent has teamed up with publishers to tell her story. She will reportedly pay tribute to her late mother whom she took care of until her death in 2007.
“When I strutted on to the stage for that audition, I was a scared wee lassie, still grieving for my mother, not caring how I looked,” she said. “I think I’ve grown up a lot in the last year, become more of a lady, and I’m not so frightened anymore.
“I’m writing this book to try to show that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and I hope it will benefit other people. My story demonstrates that you shouldn’t just look at the label, you should look at the whole person, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.
The book will be titled The Woman I Was Born To Be and will hits stores some time this year.
Let's hope she makes the book a little juicy and tells us if she's actually a virgin.

Susan is said to be looking for Mr. Right because she doesn't want to be a spinster forever.
In a TV interview in Australia, she said: “I go on looking. Some day my prince will come. But I have never been in a better place. It’s absolutely brilliant for me right now.”
Susan, 49, admitted she recently asked out a 66 year-old fellow churchgoer named Helmut Glaser, but he turned her down telling her she's too old.
Maybe he didn't know she was a celebrity? She seems like such a sweet soul, we're sure she'll find love soon. Meanwhile, Susan is still trying to get used to the idea of fame.
She added: “It takes a wee bit to get used to it. I had to learn to be a bit different, people recognize you in the street. At the beginning I couldn’t go out on my own. I still catch the bus.”
We hope Susan finds love soon, she seems a little lonely and lost. Who do you think Susan should be set up with?

Boyle’s brothers have now stepped forward to voice their concern about their now-famous sister, and how she’s handled her rise to the top. "The traveling and the whole [fame] thing is exhausting. She still has her anxieties and her loneliness," her brother Gerry tells People.
Her other brother John believes Susan shouldn’t be left by herself at all. He adds, "She needs 24-hour care. She needs to be looked after."
He’s perhaps referring to the recent break-in at Boyles home. Since then, Susan has installed a new security system at the house. And her friend Lorraine Campbell ensures that Boyle has someone to turn to when the going gets rough.
She says, "She knows she can come up to me anytime. If she's upset, she'll stay the night. Security would bring her up to my house. I take her home in the morning. Susan stayed with me a week ago. Nighttime is a lonely time for her."
Poor SuBo! It just goes to show that fame isn’t the cure-all for problems! We’re glad to hear she has family and close friends that still watch over her.

According to the The Sun, Susan fell inside the lounge at British Airways terminal due to heat exhaustion. An eyewitness tells the paper, "It was very dramatic. Susan's legs just gave way under her and she went down."
She was reportedly given medical attention, and permitted to board her plane to Italy. Her rep has since issued this statement: "Susan did faint at Heathrow as she overheated in the lounge because it was so warm. However, she is fine now and gave a fantastic performance at the festival."
We worry about this woman! Susan’s been hospitalized one too many times in the past year! Is there any reason why she can’t just slow down a little?! If she keeps up this pace, she’s sure to burn out!

This unlikely superstar has been having such a hard time dealing with fame, she's suffered multiple breakdowns, exhaustion and even had an intruder break into her home earlier this week. So what's a girl to do? Take a vacation of course!
Simon has offered to pay for Susan to take a luxury vacation to get some much needed R&R, but Susan would rather stay at home with her cat Pebbles.
“Simon had a lengthy chat with her and said he would do anything to help,” a source said. “He offered her a wonderfully relaxing holiday to get away from everything.
“She said it was a sweet offer but wanted to stay at home and, if she changed her mind, she would call him.”
Grab your cat and take him up on his offer girl! This woman needs a vacation bad!
Meanwhile, since Susan refuses to go on vacation, Simon has paid for extra security for her to make sure she feels safe at home following the break in she had this week.
When did Simon become such a softie? We're like the new and approved Simon!

The man was on the stairs when Susan returned to her house in West Lothian, Scotland, and as soon as he saw Susan he ran past her and out the front door.
A friend told The Sun newspaper: “Susan got home to find an intruder halfway up her stairs. She was with another female, who was dropping her off, and only expected to be with her for a couple of minutes - but it is just as well she was.
“Susan is unharmed but is obviously very, very shocked. The guy has seen her come in and bolted out straight past Susan.”
Police were called and the Lothian and Borders force confirmed a man was being held last night.
What a scary situation to find yourself in! She's probably terrified of being home alone after this. Poor Susan.
