David Cook is the new spokesmodel for Skechers. Yes, we're talking about the cheesy shoe line. Please don't tell us he'll be sporting rollerskate sneakers on the Idol tour this summer! He'll be featured in several print promotional campaigns for Skechers through December 2009.
David put out this fake statement pretending he likes their shoes: "I have always viewed Skechers as a cool company, so I am excited to be a part of their campaign."
Translation: "I'm excited to finally not be bartending and making money!"
