Queen Latifah is being sued by her makeup artist and a stylist who claim she owes them $1 million. In two separate lawsuits filed in NY, cosmetics consultant Roxanna Floyd and fashion stylist Susan Moses accuse Latifah of breach of contract.
Floyd claims she is owed more than $700,000 to helping gto develop, produce, and market the Queen Collection for Cover Girl. Moses claims Latifah owes her more than $300,000 for helping her in her role for Curvations, a lingerie line designed for fuller figured women. Sounds like these two ladies definitely pow-wowwed beforehand.
Amanda Silverman, a spokeswoman for Queen Latifah, says the lawsuits have no merit, but she can't comment more on pending litigation.
It just seems a little fishy when two people come out of the woodwork like Floyd and Moses and claim to be owed such huge amounts of money.
Everyone is struggling right now, and they are probably feeling the crunch of the economy like everyone else and trying to make a buck off someone who has more than enough in the bank. We smell some B.S. on these lawsuits. But stranger things have happened! Look how much undeserved money Heather Mills got!
