Natalie Portman's Shoe Line Goes Under

Natalie Portman’s vegan shoe line has just been discontinued. The shoes were really cute, but they came with a hefty price tag, which is a big turnoff for shoppers in this economy. It's pretty sad that the collection couldn't even last more than a year.

She launched the Natalie Portman Collection for Te Casan in February, and the shoes retailed for about $200.

Natalie’s line didn’t collapse completely on its own. The parent company, Te Casan, just went under. No word on whether or not Natalie will find another partnership for her shoe line.

Fergie recently hinted that she might be launching an eco-friendly shoe line. She might wanna put those plans on hold till the economy gets better unless she's gonna sell the shoes for cheap. And we all know eco products don't usually come cheap.

Loved the shoes-but it is time to scale the price if you want to be stylish AND popular.
