Naomi Campbell is in trouble yet again! The fiery supermodel is being sued by a perfume company for breach of contract. The lawsuit was filed today, accusing Naomi of violating a 1998 contract with Moodform Mission by inking a new fragrance-licensing agreement.
Moodform says she withheld millions of dollars in profits that she owed the company for a fragrance it helped her develop.
A statement from the company read: Campbell “has made millions of dollars from the sale of fragrances and cosmetics products conceptualized, created, developed and marketed with the assistance of” Moodform Mission.
The lawsuit said Naomi stopped paying Moodform Mission its share of proceeds from scents it helped develop, which include Naomi Campbell, Cat Deluxe and Seductive Elixir.
Procter And Gamble, which sells the fragrances, did not immediately respond to messages. Naomi denies the claims in a statement issued through a spokesman. “She is confident that the judge and the jury in this case will fully vindicate her,” it says.
The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages from Campbell.
