This past week one designer that stood out from all the collections presented was
Jenny Han. If you're not familiar with this line, we recommend you write it down. Han launched in Los Angeles in fall of 2004 and her causal-chic collection is becoming a big hit in Hollywood.
Actress Mena Suvari is a big fan of the line and came out to the show sporting the purple ruffled cocktail dress to show her support.
The line was nostalgic of the 70’s era with wide-leg trouser, culottes, short shorts and skits in week and denim. This was the first time Jenny offered a full range of bottoms. The collection also featured silk blouses layered with oversized chunky
sweaters, flirty dress in short and long lengths,
structured jackets and faux fur jackets.
Han also brought back bold prints including an earthy green and black “Story” print, a multi-colored Moroccan print, a jersey circle print
and paisley with beading. Deep and rich fall colors in
varying textures included purple, teal, green, cobalt blue,
brown and a “scene-stealing” saffron yellow.
