One runway show no one wanted to miss at this week’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was
Marc Jacobs. Celebs like Anna Wintour, Madonna and Jesus Luz, Janet Jackson,
Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton took their seats to watch Marc’s latest creations sashay down the catwalk. to And you could spot his models a mile away! They were the ones wearing every color of the rainbow.
For Marc’s Spring 2010 collection, he strayed from the usual grays and blacks to infuse a kaleidoscope of color and big prints. It almost reminded us of a trip back to the 90’s, with the neon brights paired with primary colors.
And it looks like bows are back in a big way, as the models sported such outlandish ones on the runway they almost looked like bunny ears. Guess we should have never second guessed Madonna at the Met Gala back in May…
Speaking of Material Girls, satin and silks seem to be prominent in his Spring collection, which is always a breath of fresh air. Breathable flowy fabric is a plus in our books.
So get yourself and your closets ready for the 90s infusion that’s inevitably going to happen sooner than you think!
