Designer no more.
Lauren Conrad has been left with no choice but to pull her
The Lauren Conrad Collection line out of stores due to lack of sales.
Conrad launched her clothing line back in 2007 following her success on the popular reality show
The Hills, but her prices left consumers running for the hills instead.
Conrad has pulled all plans to launch a spring/summer line, and has put her designs on hold for the immediate future.
Her rep tells Page Six, "With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings. She will make announcements soon."
Trendy boutiques like
Kitson on Robertson Blvd already dropped her collection late last year. Don't feel too bad for Lauren though, she reportedly makes $75,000 an episode for
The Hills, so she's not lacking in the paycheck department.
