By now we all know that
Lady Gaga has an unusual and eccentric style. However the pop sensation doesn't understand why some people question her style.
Lady Gaga once steamed in an interview, "I am so often puzzled (by journalists). Sometimes they go, 'So what's this all about? ... What do you look like when you go home? Do you dress like this all the time?' It's rude! It's not nice."
The question may not be nice, however some items LG sports makes us wonder, "what was she thinking?" Especially the mask she wore while doing a press conference in Floriana, Malta. Lady defended her mask by stating, 'It's not just a mask, it's a contemporary art piece,' adding that it was made by a designer friend of hers.
It wasn’t just her mask making a lot of noise, it was her entire get up. From her halter dress, one leather opera-length glove and one fingerless glove.
Lady Gaga confessed that her latest “it” accessory came from her inspiration from her latest obsession, sex shops. "I love all designers. I appreciate a life devoted to fashion," she said. "Right now, I'm having a very strong obsession mostly with clothing found in sex shops. I would venture to say that all that clothing was designed by gay men."
Other inspirations that have inspired Lady G include her favorite book,
Letters to a Young Poet. “I was inspired by Helmut Newton for the
Paparazzi video. I'm inspired by fashion. I'm inspired by the moonlight. I'm inspired by sex and pornography and slasher films."
Whatever her inspirations are, the publicity around it is bringing her popularity level to new heights. Not to mention her music career, Lady GaGa recently became the third artist in the 16-year history of the Mainstream Top 40 airplay chart to collect three No. 1 songs from a debut album.
"It's been a very remarkable year," she added about her meteoric rise to fame since the release of
Just Dance last year. "And I feel very blessed. I lived an isolated lifestyle before the media. I lived a life of solitude and loyalty and commitment to my work. I just don't prioritize my life in the same way that other people do. The only thing that matters is my music and my performance."
