Lauren Conrad's Fashion Line on Hiatus

Designer no more. Lauren Conrad has been left with no choice but to pull her The Lauren Conrad Collection line out of stores due to lack of sales.

Conrad launched her clothing line back in 2007 following her success on the popular reality show The Hills, but her prices left consumers running for the hills instead.

Conrad has pulled all plans to launch a spring/summer line, and has put her designs on hold for the immediate future.

This might make Lauren Conrad a little jealous. While LC's line was reportedly dropped from Kitson, a couple pieces of Whitney Port's was picked up!

She and pal Adrienne Baravetto have co-designed a collection of glitzy party dresses under the name Eve & A.

It's a high-end collection, and definitely fun and flirty, similar to Whit's style on The Hills. Very un- DVF, which is where Whitney is working at the moment.

Robertson's trendiest boutique Kitson has dropped Lauren Conrad's fashion line because of its "lackluster sales."

Owner Fraser Ross tells nymag.com, "Initially it was great," adding that he tried to get her to show up for in store appearances to help the line sell, but due to scheduling conflicts, it never happened.

He adds, "They need to realize it's no different than selling your album, your TV shows, your movies. You have to keep promoting it."
