British designer and celebrity favorite
Matthew Williamson can add another notch onto his resume. He’s teaming up with the fashioable and always affordable
H&M to do what they call a capsule collection.
Williamson is on board for a women’s line to debut in Summer 2009, which will launch globally in all H&M stores on April 23rd. It will be followed a couple months later by a men’s line.
H&M creative adviser Margareta van den Bosch said in a statement, "
Matthew has such a good eye and a way for working with prints that he mixes up in a new way. When he combines these things, you get a very contemporary London look.”
