Confessions of a Hollyscoop Stylist: Halloween Edition

Hey everyone, I’m Kara Magee and I am the stylist for Hollyscoop. I am here to share with you the latest fashion trends, as well as, some of my very own secret style tips that I use to dress the talent for the show.

We just finished up our Halloween episode and I had so much fun dressing everyone up in their costume of choice. This year, Leg Avenue was able to provide us with a wide variety of costumes and accessories for the show.

I must say that Leg Avenue has the cutest and sexiest costumes when it comes to Halloween. Leg Avenue is always the first place I look for costumes so when I found out we were doing a Halloween episode; of course, I had to call Leg Avenue to help dress the talent for the show.

Brian Corsetti wanted to be a western sheriff this year so that he could play with his guns and wear a mustache and wig. Leg Avenue was able to provide us with a great costume for Brian.

Bridget Daly wanted to be something fun and sassy, so I thought she’d make the perfect Can-Can Girl. Leg Avenue was able to provide us with this costume. All day Bridget was showing off her cancan dancing skills. She’s actually pretty good!

Ani Esmailian wanted to explore her dark side and be a part of the growing trend of new vampires such as True Blood and the Twilight series. She chose to wear her own sexy little black dress and Leg Avenue provided us with the cap.

After seeing Heidi Klum dressed up for her annual Halloween party that she hosts every year, Diana Madison wanted to follow in her foot steps and be Betty Boop. We were able to recreate the look by going to American Apparel to buy a steamy red strapless dress. Then, we made our way to a costume shop to find the perfect black curly wig. To finish off the look, Diana, wore her own accessories.

Since the 80s are so hot right now, Nora Gasparian wanted to recreate an 80s prom night so bring on the teased hair and fun 80s makeup! I found her dress off of eBay and I really do think that someone actually wore this dress to their prom back in the 80s!

Well that covers the fantastic costumes that everyone wore on the show this week. See you next week in the Hollyscoop Closet and remember… Stay Stylish and Fabulous!
