Furstenberg and Claiborne Honored on Fashion Walk of Fame

July 31, 2008

Fashion designers Diane von Furstenberg and the late Liz Claiborne are both being honored for their contribution to the world of fashion by being honored with their own spots on the Fashion Walk of Fame on Seventh Avenue.

Upon receiving the award, Von Furstenberg said, "A little bit over three decades ago, I came to New York with a few little dresses I had made in a tiny suitcase and a child in my belly. I was terrified of Seventh Avenue."

"It's an honor to get this from the very neighborhood that intimidated me so much."

Claiborne's widower, Art Orenberg accepted her award on her behalf.

Go you girl. Look is not everything. You've got your advantage and made full use of it. That's of what part I like you. Listen, here is one site for you, ____wealthysoulmate.com_____. You can meet the man you want, wealthy, young and sexy. The rumor says Charlie Sheen found his love on that site last May. Just take it. It's worthy of a shot.
