Model-turned-actress-turned-fashion designer
Caroline D'Amore presented her Spring 2009
D’Amore by Marceau collection to a packed house on Tuesday at Mercedes Benz LA Fashion Week.
Unfortunately Caroline was on set shooting for a movie so her design partner
Laurent Planeix had to present the show without his leading lady.
Hollyscoop caught up with Laurent backstage to get the scoop on his collection and what we can expect from the line. "Lot of D'Amore.
You're gonna see a lot of sublimation technique printing, which is pretty much on stretch spandex and satin fabric. I did sublimation print of Caroline D'Amore and some photoshoots that I've done. I transformed the pictures and put them on it," said Laurent. "Lots of strong colors," he added.
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian came out to support their good friend Caroline's line, even if she was absent. "We're gonna make sure it's all under control," joked Kim.
