It’s been a while since we heard about
Christian Siriano. Maybe because he’s been hard at work on his new clothing line.
Last summer, Hollyscoop got word that the man who brought back the word fierce into our vocabulary was about to make pregnant women very happy.
He teamed up with designers Marta Abrams and Elise Rosemarin to create
Moody Mamas, a maternity line for women who don’t want to put their style on hold just because they have a bun in the oven!
The line has just launched, and puts Liz Lange to shame! Moody Mamas was designed to make women feel good through every stage in her pregnancy: pre or post!
Christian’s partners Marta and Elise put their all into this idea. Though neither of them have ever been pregnant, they decided to set out to get a better understanding of the 9-month process.
They went to pre-natal yoga and lamaze classes, interviewed pregnant women and those who were nursing, interviewed OB-GYNS, and even wore fake bellies to give them the “essence of being pregnant." Now that’s some dedication!
They then set forth a plan to produce a line that celebrated the beauty of pregnant women and the thrill associated with this time in life. And it’s finally here!
