Francisco Costa has done it again. The designer behind the
Calvin Klein label unveiled his new collection yesterday.
The collection was made of mostly straight lines, so much that he managed to make Narciso Rodriguez's creations look almost shapely.
Costa used a lot of paneling, as well as some major high shoulder action, making the clothes appear almost like costumes for a Bond Girl, in 2050.
In front of a star packed audience featuring Kate Beckinsale and Eva Mendes, models tramped down the runway in seriously minimalist clothes.
The collection was full of pencil skirts for day, and featured one-shouldered gowns for evening. In an arena of over the top decadence, Costa proved that that less is indeed more.
