Burberry Prorsum Takes Over Milan Fashion Week

Milan fashion week is in full swing, and Burberry Prorsum certainly turned heads in the fashion capital this week.

Burberry designer, Christopher Bailey, called the collection "The Garden Girls" insisting he was inspired by his own garden in Yorkshire.

The collection consisted of tons of browns, nudes and mossy greens. Think earth colors! Skinny cardigans, boyfriend pantsuits and trench coats also ruled the runway. And lets not forget about the statement necklace. Just about every outfit was paired...

Milan Fashion Week Into Fabrics?

Milan Fashion week is in full swing and the designers are making their marks with cool fabrics. Designer Cristina Ortiz incorporated a lot of silk for the Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2008 collection. Our favorite items were the long silk gowns such as the purple number featured above.

While SF was displaying silk, Giorgio Armani was playing with Velvet. Most of his collection such as the waistcoats, evening gowns, knee length skirts and even men’s suits featured the fabric.
