Beyonce’s altar-ego Sasha Fierce has taken on a life of her own! Beyonce is known for rocking her mom Tina’s
House of Dereon creations on the red carpet. But now the ladies are teaming up to design a Sasha Fierce-inspired line!
The collection will be based on Beyonce’s stage wardrobe for her “I Am…Sasha Fierce” tour she’s on through November. Tina says the line is “edgier and trendier and reflects Sasha Fierce’s daring and outgoing attitude.” They’re calling it a back-to-school collection, including sportswear, outerwear, handbags, footwear, eyewear, lingerie and jewelry.
Tina says, “When the tour started, we noticed the definite style of it. Thierry Mugler designed the clothes for the tour, but we really wanted to celebrate the style and interpret that into a collection.”
“She definitely tells me what she likes and what she doesn’t. It was her suggestion to line the rips of the jeans with the mesh and lace. It makes the jeans look really different from what’s out there.”
Beyoncé agrees, saying “the line really exudes a different side of my personality, which I am grateful that I can express.
Macys and Dillards have already signed on to carry the line in the fall. The collection will go between $25 and $75.
