Woody Allen In Cahoots With American Apparel

American Apparel

American Apparel is known for its offbeat ads and funky clothing styles, but Woody Allen is not impressed. He's suing the company for $10 million.  And rightly so. AA used Allen's image on a ton of their billboards and on internet ads.

The ads depict Woody Allen dressed up like a Rabbi, even though he's never endorsed the company in any way.  Who cares? Free publicity right? Maybe it will trigger people to go rent Annie Hall, or be more inclined to see the next Allen flick. But no, Woody is sticking to his guns, and wants his money. Probably for his next movie.
