Anna Sui rocked the tents yesterday as she showed off her ’09 collection during NY Fashion Week.
Sui's collection was inspired by Proust and the Paris of the Nineties so it’s no wonder that floral prints and heavy velvet made a cameo on the runway.
Sui stuck to her basic black, with heavy patterns overlapping. Just in time for fall, Sui packed in some great wool pieces, not to mention some serious boots for kicking around the leaves. But this collection was very much in keeping with the economic times.
Sui stated that her fabric choices were key in making sure all of her designs stayed within a certain price point, but one would have never known.
The Anna Sui girl is a little cooler than the rest and there is no doubt she will love this latest collection. See y'all in the fall ladies!
